First and foremost - responsibility for a safe work-environment lies with you and your colleagues, but....
The good news is that I can help you to achieve that safe work-environment goal. Through my experience in dealing with Health & Safety management systems as well as leadership development, I have the insights to to help you to create and maintain a safe workplace. I do this by focusing on the two main elements that I think are essential: systems and people.

Systems and processes need to be in place to ensure all hazards are identified, and controls are in place to mitigate those hazards (see diagram)

The workplace culture needs to be such that it that fosters a safe working environment, for example through:

Having a workplace community spirit that encourages everybody to look after each other

Having an engrained belief that injuries can be avoided
